Opening: WELTKUNSTZIMMER

In October 2012 the Hans Peter Zimmer Foundation inaugurates the WELTKUNSTZIMMER, a new interdisciplinary art centre for visual arts, performing arts and music. It already started its programme in early 2012 with exhibitions, concerts an performances by young artists and curators to fill up the spacious urban architecture with life.

 

The concert series MUSIKZIMMER supports young bands from Düsseldorf and NRW to present their scope once a month. This will continue also in the upcoming years. GÄSTEZIMMER offers 6 artist guest studios. Here artists can develop works on site and stay for a long time, alone or in cooperation with art institutions. WELTKUSTZIMMER is a place for openness, hospitality and wants to be seen as a vibrant and virulent place for exchange in art.
